Traditional Thanksgiving Buffet at the Hotel Coolidge

The first course will have Salad, Soup, Cheese, & Fruit. The second Squash, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Salmon, Carved Prime Rib of Beef, Roast Turkey, Stuffing and Gravy. And for desert, Pumpkin Pie, Mince Pie, Apple Pie and Chocolate Mousse.

Green Mountain Fiber Festival

Hotel Coolidge and Kids Can Cook Present a Free Farm-to-Table Tasting and Sampling

Stop by the hotel Sunday, November 10th, 2013 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM and sample wonderful local Vermont products such as Cabot Cheese, Osborne Family Maple, Spring Brook Farm and more. All are welcome to attend this free tasting and sampling event, hosted here at the Hotel Coolidge.

Apples and Craft Artisan Fair

Woodstock's Annual Apples & Crafts Fair will be held 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday, October 12th and 13th, 2013. A vast selection of juried crafts, art and specialty foods will be featured amidst a spectacular fall setting in Bailey’s Meadow on Route Four, east of the village of Woodstock. More than 100 craftspeople and specialty food producers will display and sell their wares at this popular event. Among the many offerings at the fair are original designs in sterling silver jewelry, hand crafted herbal soaps, wood crafts, handmade dolls, watercolor paintings, photography, handmade blown glass, quilts, colorful fleece and woolen clothing, wheel thrown stoneware, maple syrup, homemade fudge and kettle korn.

Special booths and events at the Fair will include craft demonstrations, and the traditional homemade soups and chili’s offered by the many volunteers who support this annual fundraiser for the Woodstock Recreation Center, Inc.

Admission to the Crafts Fair is $3 per person, children under 12 are free.

Glory Days

If you're a fan of trains than you can't miss the 21st Annual Glory Days Festival! Take a trip along the Connecticut river in on of the train excursions, or grab a bite to eat and check out the train displays. Live entertainment and  a pancake breakfast will be there for you, along with games, vendors and mini train rides for the young fans.

Admission is $3.00, starting 9:00 am to 4:00 pm,

A Garden Bestiary - Zollikofer Gallery Presents Peggy Richardson

Enter the micro-world of flowers and their insects, bugs and spider visitors via these closeup photographs by Peggy Richardson. Most of the images from this gallery were taken from her garden only a mile from the Hotel Coolidge! Come on by and see them July 19th through September 18th.

Hartford Alumni Day Parade

Join us on June 29th to celebrate the town of Hartford! There will be a parade featuring floats from Hartford High School classes celebrating their milestone reunions, local organizations and businesses. This year's theme is the Olympics. The parade will start at 11:00 AM, so be sure to stop by and show your support!
